Colten had his Fall Program at school last week. It was all Veggie Tales songs - it was so cute! I can't believe how big he looks up there on that stage.
He's so serious!!!
"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways, acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths." Proverbs 3:5-6
He's so serious!!!
Colten also had Community Helper Day at school. All the kids were to dress up as someone who works in their community. He choose his profession to be a Pastor. Here's what he looked like - he was so proud to be a pastor! They were suppose to tell their class what their community helpers jobs are in the community. Colten's teacher, Mrs. Cloud, asked him if pastors visit sick people in the hospital...of course he said, "No way!" I guess he's not a fan of hospitals.
I got her smiling!!
Joel and my dad had a golf tournament, so we (me, Colten, Addy, and my mom) went to Plainfield and ate at Red Robin, then went shopping at Metropolis mall. It was the first time I used Addy's new stroller - she loved it and so did I!! Colten found a Red Power Ranger action figure at TJ Maxx that he just fell in love with - it may have something to do with his Halloween costume this year.
Anyway, he had the red one - so, of course, he had to have the other colors too - blue, black, pink, yellow, and green. He just loves multiples of things. He's always been like that. So, we went all over Plainfield trying to find those Power Rangers. We couldn't find them. I ended up getting them on ebay. Which worked out pretty well...it was cheaper than in the stores.
On Sunday, Addy and I went to church for the first time since she was born. We got there late, but...better late than never! I'm definitely not use to getting 2 kids, myself, and a husband ready for church yet. It's something I'll have to work on. After church, Joel and my dad went to yet another golf tournament, so we went out to lunch then to the Edinburgh Outlet Mall. We had another fun day! Addison and Colten were really great as Mom and I shopped for underwear and purses. Ha!! Maybe next year, Colten will be able to spend the day at the golf course instead of the outlet mall. Poor little guy. So, that was our busy weekend. Next weekend, we plan on going to the pumpkin patch...lots of pictures to come!

Here's some pics we took at the hospital after Addy was born...
