Summer Wrap Up

School is back in session and summer is officially over.  Is it just me or is this year just zooming by really fast??  Colten is in 2nd grade and Addison will turn 2 next week.  My babies are no longer babies.  What am I gonna do with myself when Addy heads off to school...I guess I'll have to join the workforce again.  Ugh.  No, really...I'm kinda looking forward to a new adventure!  It's "finding the new adventure" that will be difficult.

So...back to the topic at hand.  Summer was great!  The Yeats went to Disney in June - all 15 of us!  And we had a blast!!  We stayed at an awesome 7 bedroom house just 5 miles from "The World" with our very own pool (that we used alot - it was HOT!).  We laughed until we cried, we played games, and had wonderful meals together, we got sick together, - we created sooooo many memories.  I still think of that trip a lot, even 3 months later.  Of course, it's mainly because I miss the people I was with.  :(  Oh, how I wished we all lived closer to each other!

In July, we had a Robinson Family Reunion in Brown County, Indiana.  It was alot of fun!  We stayed at the Abe Martin Lodge that had a great aquatic center for the kids.  I think Colten went down that waterslide about 100 times - he wanted to do NOTHING else.  ;)  Addison loved it too!  It's always fun to get together with family and share stories and play games and just be with each other.  Good times.

In August, we made a short little trip to Holiday World with our friends.  We had so much fun at their water park - one of the best in the country.  Can I just say that Wildabeast is one of the best rides I've ever been on??  Wow - awesome!!  Anyway, we stayed in Louisville over night and came home the next day after hitting a few malls.  I just love those little weekend getaways!

Now we are half way through September.  Just 99 more days until Christmas!  Yikes!  Didn't we just have Christmas?  Tomorrow we are leaving for Nashville, Tennessee to hang out with Joel's parents for the weekend.  We are so excited to see them!

Well, that's all for now.  Here's hoping you had a great summer too! Farewell, my blogger friends!
