While in Texas...

I've been home from Texas for about a week. Trying to recover from traveling with a 7 month old, being sick, laundry, etc. It's been kinda crazy! Addy and I went with my friend, Becky, to a wedding in Austin. One of my best friends, Dora, got married on April 18th. It was a beautiful wedding and I am so glad I was able to be a part of it. We arrived on Thursday at DFW where Dora picked us up (she lives in Fort Worth) and we all rode down to Austin together.
Addison had fun checking out all the fun stuff and mirrors in the bathroom of our hotel...ok we had fun too!

Friday before the wedding, we all went and got a pedicure. It was so much fun and Addison loved watching. Ah-oh...I'm starting her early!

We had rehearsal on Friday night. Here's a pic of the beautiful bride and her husband.

We went to Cannoli Joe's after the rehearsal had some yummy Italian food. It was embarrassing how much we ate!

I love this picture of Matt (Dora's new husband) and Addison - so funny!!

The wedding was Saturday and I didn't get many pictures...because I was in it. But here's one of Dora and I all fancied up.

The wedding was beautiful! The music at the beginning while guests were being seated were all movie themes - it was really pretty. The ceremony was so special. They had a moment when friends and family could come up one by one, and pray for the couple. It was very unique and memorable. After the wedding, they had a cake reception. Then it was all over!

Right after the wedding, Becky and I with Addison, drove back to Fort Worth and stayed with J-M and Angie and the kids. We made a quick stop along the way to visit Becky's in-laws and have dinner. Then on Sunday night, we met up with a long lost friend from high school, Melissa, and had dinner.

Whew!! What a full and fun weekend! Thanks, Angie and family for putting up with us and taking us to the airport on Monday morning. You guys are the best!!

Look out...Baby on the Loose!!

Addison is officially crawling!! She started last week taking one step with her knee and then down on her belly. But what a difference a week makes! She's definitely got the hang of it now. Today she crawled all the way from the living room to my bedroom. She was so proud of herself! I have a cute video included in the blog of Addy in her spa bath just talking away. Just click the title above and it will take you to the video.

The city of Greenwood had their annual Easter Egg Hunt at the Park on Saturday. There were hundreds of kids lined up and ready for the dash to get lots of eggs and goodies. I think the "hunt" lasted about 5 minutes. Colten and I went while Joel and Addison stayed at home. It was kinda chilly outside - around 37 degrees! Here's some photos of all the fun.

Hope everyone has a Happy Easter!!

Addison is 6 months old!

Here are some pictures of Addison at 6 months. She is sitting up by herself and almost crawling forward. She can crawl a little backward and she gets up on her knees and rocks back and forth. It's so cute! She is eating baby food now - she's had sweet potatoes and squash for vegetables...her favorite is squash. And she's tried bananas, pears, and applesauce for fruit. I think she prefers the veges though...unlike her big brother. Colten is on spring break next week, so hopefully I can post some more pics of us all having fun. We are staying in town, but we plan on doing some fun things.
Joel will be going out of town next week and the next 3 weeks after that. We will only see him on the weekends. :( Happy Spring, everyone!!
P.S. I know her bow doesn't match her outfit, but I didn't have one that did...

My baby is getting so big!

Ok...wow. It's been a really long time since I've posted on this blog. I guess there's just nothing exciting going on in my life. Addison is just growing and growing. She will be 6 months old on March 24th! She is practically sitting up by herself now. She can stay up a good 30 seconds before tumbling over. She is starting to teeth. She makes the funniest faces and drools A LOT and always has her fingers in her mouth trying to ease the pain. We've tried giving her cereal a few times - she doesn't seem to like it a whole lot. But I think she's starting to get use to it.
Colten is doing well in school. He is learning to count coins and learning his addition tables. I don't remember doing that when I was in kindergarten. I remember just learning letters and numbers! He had strep throat about 2 weeks ago and after 10 days of antibiotics, he is back to normal! Joel has been home for the last month - yea!! He isn't scheduled to go out of town until next month. :(
We are starting to look forward to our Robinson Family Reunion in Gatlinburg in June this year! I've been designing our t-shirts and we've been planning activities and excursions. I love to plan vacations - it's one of my favorite things to do! Other than that...not much going on here. Hope you all are doing great - thanks for stopping by!

Here are just a few random photos from the last few months...
The first 3 pics are when we met John & Sharon in Nashville for the weekend. Good times!!

More Christmas Fun...

All the Yeats at Nana & Granddaddy's!!

Here's a few pictures of Christmas morning at John-Mark and Angie's house. Colten got the Elmo Live he had been asking for!!

Addison had fallen asleep after we left Nana and Grandaddy's house - she was holding on to her rings - so cute!!

It's ABOUT TIME!

Please forgive me! It's been a long time since I've posted on my blog. With Joel being out of town and me trying to catch up on all the chores, I've not been able to sit down and do this. I've been over at my parent's house alot lately, because if I didn't have some adult conversation...I would go crazy.

I don't even know where to begin. I guess I'll share some Christmas pics, since I haven't shared any yet. I know the last thing you want to think about is Christmas right now, but here ya go!

Here's a great pic of Annie trying to eat Addy's foot.

Addison Rolls Over!!

It's been almost a month since I've posted anything!! I can't find the cable to my camera to download all my hundreds of pictures that I've taken since Disney! Where could it be? Luckily, my dad has one that I can borrow...so there will be photos on here shortly.

In the meantime...check out this video link of Addison rolling over! (Just click on the title "Addison Rolls Over!) She had already done it a few times that same day, but this was Joel's first time to see her. He was such a proud papa!! More to come later...
